The Dunkeld Fish Bar in Scotland has introduced a novel deep-fried Christmas dinner, delighting adventurous diners with traditional festive fare reimagined for the deep fryer. The unique menu features battered turkey fillets, sage and onion stuffing balls, Brussels sprouts, and foot-long pigs in blankets, all coated in crispy batter and served with chips.

Owner Scott Davie reports immense popularity for these unconventional dishes, with battered Brussels sprouts and pigs in blankets flying out the door. "It's been a game changer for us," Davie stated, highlighting the surprising success of these deep-fried delicacies. Customers can order individual items or a full Christmas dinner box.

Adding to the festive spirit, the chip shop is donating proceeds from the sale of its popular deep-fried sprouts to the Fishermen's Mission charity. The innovative menu also extends to deep-fried mince pies and a Christmas-themed pizza, showcasing the establishment's adventurous culinary approach, which has earned it acclaim as a former winner of Scotland's best fish and chip shop.
