Owner Scott Davie reports immense popularity for these unconventional dishes, with battered Brussels sprouts and pigs in blankets flying out the door. "It's been a game changer for us," Davie stated, highlighting the surprising success of these deep-fried delicacies. Customers can order individual items or a full Christmas dinner box.
Adding to the festive spirit, the chip shop is donating proceeds from the sale of its popular deep-fried sprouts to the Fishermen's Mission charity. The innovative menu also extends to deep-fried mince pies and a Christmas-themed pizza, showcasing the establishment's adventurous culinary approach, which has earned it acclaim as a former winner of Scotland's best fish and chip shop.
