Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell Embrace Outspoken Daughters

Shepard recently recalled a conversation he had with a friend in Nashville, where the friend expressed concern over the girls' tendency to "talk back" and show a lack of respect, which is considered unusual in the Southern region.

However, Shepard defended his and Bell's parenting style, stating that he prioritizes empowering his daughters to advocate for themselves, even if it means they are not always polite or deferential. Shepard explained that he wants his daughters to feel comfortable standing up to authority figures, such as a "f***ing creep" of a boss, when they are adults.

The Parenthood alum also revealed that cursing is allowed in their household, with the caveat that it must be used appropriately and not in public settings. Shepard believes that by treating language as neutral, his daughters can learn to wield it effectively.
