Curious California Python Travels 50 Miles to In-N-Out Burger

On September 29th, 2025, an employee at an In-N-Out Burger in Monrovia, California, spotted an unexpected customer – a 3.6-pound, 4-foot-long python. The worker promptly contacted the Pasadena Humane Society to have the snake, later identified as Henny, safely removed from the premises.

Henny's owners were shocked to learn of her whereabouts, as the python had gone missing from their home in San Bernardino, over 50 miles away, more than a month earlier on August 11th. According to the family, Henny had been a "little shy" during her stay at the shelter, but once reunited with her owners, she "relaxed completely, posing for photos and proudly showing off her special markings."

While the details of Henny's journey remain a mystery, her owners are simply relieved to have her back home safe and sound. This incident serves as a reminder that even the most unexpected creatures can embark on unexpected adventures, sometimes in pursuit of a craving as simple as a burger.
