Lost Loves Unite Couple to Comfort Others

Barb Russell and Dave Walter, a couple from Cobb County, are bringing comfort to families facing end-of-life grief through music. Both experienced the profound loss of their spouses before meeting and discovering a shared passion for music.

They now volunteer their time at four Wellstar clinics, including hospice units, where they play guitar and sing for patients and their loved ones. This initiative stems from their own difficult experiences with grief, aiming to prevent others from feeling the isolation they once endured.

Their music provides a unique form of solace, reducing stress and offering a sense of peace during trying times.
