Summary
- Collingwood AFL star Jack Crisp and wife Mikayla missed their flight to Fiji
- Exhausted parents with 3 young kids stranded at airport for 5 hours
- Begged airline to let them on plane but were too late

On November 17, 2025, Collingwood AFL star Jack Crisp and his wife Mikayla experienced a stressful start to their family vacation to Fiji. The couple, along with their three young daughters Lilah, Sloane, and Murphy Jay, had planned a much-needed getaway, but their plans were derailed when they missed their early morning flight.
Mikayla shared on Instagram that the family had stayed at an airport hotel the night before in an attempt to get some rest before their flight, but they ended up getting no sleep at all. Exhausted and with their children in tow, the Crisps arrived at the airport only to discover they had missed their 6:15 am flight. Despite Jack's desperate pleas, the airline was unable to let them board the plane.
Mikayla described the ordeal as "very stressful, overwhelming and exhausting," but the family was ultimately able to book another flight later that day and make it to Fiji. Once there, Mikayla shared that the vacation was "just what the doctor ordered" after their hectic start.
