- This is the first Clumber spaniel win since 1991.
- Bruin beat 18,000 dogs to secure the prestigious trophy.

A Clumber spaniel named Bruin has been awarded the coveted Best in Show title at this year's Crufts competition. The four-year-old canine, expertly handled by Lee Cox, emerged victorious after competing against thousands of dogs from across the globe over four days.
Bruin's win marks a historic moment, as it is the first time a Clumber spaniel has claimed the top honor since 1991. The spaniel had previously won the Gundog group before impressing judge Tamas Jakkel in the final, beating six other group winners.
Handler Lee Cox expressed his elation, describing Bruin as a "dog of a lifetime" and a "walking cartoon character." Bruin secured the prestigious trophy, with Cox set to receive a replica trophy and £200 in cash. A petit basset griffon vendeen named Meghan from Croatia was named the reserve dog.
