Childhood Friend Exposes 'Totally Miserable' Royal Life for Princes

According to a childhood friend of Princes William and Harry, life in the royal family is "totally miserable." Humphrey Ker, who attended school with the princes, shared surprising insights into their personalities as young boys.

While William was "always very sweet and sensible" and knew his responsibilities, Harry was described as much more "badly behaved" and a "maniac." Ker, who even shared a dorm with the future King at age seven, said he "really felt for" the young princes amid the intense public scrutiny they faced, especially during the height of Princess Diana's media coverage.

Ker, who is now the executive director of Wrexham AFC, believes King Charles and Queen Camilla would be happier living a quiet life in the countryside, running an eco-business and enjoying the company of their dogs. In contrast, William and Kate's children - George, Charlotte, and Louis - currently attend a £21,000-per-year school in Berkshire.

Despite their different academic performances at Eton, with William excelling and Harry struggling, the two princes briefly reconnected last year when William visited Wrexham. Ker shared a lighthearted moment with the future King, showing him a picture of his pug dog, Hilda, whom William remembered from their school days.
