Chelsea Freeman, wife of baseball star Freddie Freeman, recently detailed a frightening health emergency that led to hospitalization. She described waking suddenly with sharp chest and back pain, fearing a heart attack and calling emergency services. Medical tests revealed elevated troponin levels, leading to a heart CT, chest X-rays, and an echocardiogram. A cardiologist is currently considering pericarditis or myocarditis as potential diagnoses.

Freeman is reportedly recovering well and is scheduled for a follow-up echocardiogram next week. During this period of concern, she also shared her experience working as a correspondent for MLB during the recent All-Star Game festivities.
