In preparation for the anticipated festive rush in Chandni Chowk and nearby markets from October 18 to 21, 2025, the Delhi Traffic Police have announced special traffic arrangements to ensure smooth vehicular movement and pedestrian safety.
Heavy congestion is expected during this period, and the authorities have taken several measures to address the situation. All buses, including DTC buses, and commercial vehicles coming from the Daryaganj side on Netaji Subhash Marg will be diverted from the T-Point Subhash Marg towards Shanti Van. Additionally, vehicles coming from the Old Delhi Railway Station or Lothian Road will be diverted from Chhatta Rail towards Salimgarh Bypass.
