Chahatt Khanna's Eco-Friendly Ganesh Decor Revealed

Chahatt Khanna embraced the festive spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi by decorating her home with a nature-inspired theme. The centerpiece of her celebration was an elaborate floral setup featuring white and cream flowers, lush green foliage, and cascading floral strands. A regal touch was added with long beige curtains framing the Ganpati idol, which sat on an ornate platform surrounded by marigold garlands and colorful offerings.

Adding a personal touch, an eco-friendly clay idol made by Khanna's daughter was displayed alongside the main Ganpati idol. Khanna shared that her friend selected the idol, which she later discovered is a Dagdusheth Ganpati, a style she intends to feature annually. This year's celebration also underscored Khanna's commitment to environmental consciousness.

Khanna emphasized the growing national celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi and the potential impact on marine life from idol immersions. To mitigate this, she and her family opt for eco-friendly idols and perform visarjan in specially created ponds. This conscious choice reflects their dedication to celebrating the festival spiritually while prioritizing environmental protection.
