Calorie-Conscious Christmas: Celebrity Chef Crafts Balanced Seasonal Menu
16 Nov
Summary
- UK-first pop-up event with festive menu designed for medical weight loss
- Dishes feature measured portions, calorie-controlled, and nutritious ingredients
- Aims to help those on weight loss journeys rethink festive indulgence

On November 14th and 15th, 2025, a unique pop-up dining experience is set to launch in London, offering a festive menu designed specifically for individuals on medical weight loss journeys. The event, named "Season's Eatings," was crafted in partnership between celebrity chef Jack Stein and the clinically supervised weight-management service CheqUp.
The menu features a three-course Christmas meal with carefully measured portion sizes and calorie-controlled dishes. Ingredients such as citrus, miso, and dark chocolate were carefully selected not only for their taste but also for their nutritional benefits, helping to maintain energy and satiety throughout the meal. Lean proteins and fiber-rich vegetables were incorporated to provide festive flavors while supporting slower digestion and balancing blood sugar.
The pop-up, taking place at Icetank in London, aims to help those on weight loss treatments or with reduced appetites rethink what festive indulgence can look like. According to Jack Stein, "Food is meant to bring people together, not divide them. The real challenge is making sure everyone feels part of the meal, whatever they eat."
