A cafe in Bengaluru, Subko The Craftery, has issued a public apology following a customer's complaint about an offensive description on his bill. The customer reported that instead of his name, the bill listed 'Little fat black shirt,' prompting widespread criticism online for being unprofessional and an act of body-shaming.

The incident gained significant attention after being shared on a local subreddit, with many users expressing outrage. The customer emphasized that body-shaming is never acceptable, regardless of gender.

In response to the backlash, Subko The Craftery posted an apology on social media, acknowledging the incident and announcing that disciplinary measures had been taken against the staff involved. The cafe also committed to revising its internal processes to prevent similar incidents. They invited the affected customer to file a formal grievance through their Internal Complaints Commission (ICC).

While some social media users praised the cafe's accountability, others questioned the effectiveness of disciplinary actions and suggested alternative solutions like using table numbers instead of customer descriptions. The cafe's founders include Rahul Reddy and Daniel Trulson, and it has received investment from Nikhil Kamath.
