Burger King is rolling out a completely reimagined chicken nugget offering nationwide starting September 1, 2026. This significant menu overhaul comes after years of customer feedback highlighting issues with the previous nuggets being dry and unappealing.
The chain's head chef confirmed that the old recipe was discarded entirely to start fresh. The new nuggets are crafted from 100% white meat, marinated for enhanced juiciness and flavor, and coated in a crispier golden breading.
Complementing the new nuggets, Burger King has also updated its dipping sauce selection. Three sauces—Honey Mustard, Buffalo, and Sweet & Sour—will become permanent menu fixtures. Additionally, a limited-edition Special Savory Sauce, featuring a blend of barbecue, ketchup, garlic, onion, and black pepper, is also being introduced.
Customers can experience these changes at all Burger King locations across the United States. The introduction of the new nuggets and sauces is part of a broader initiative by Burger King president Tom Curtis to elevate the customer experience through direct feedback.
