Small Heath Park in Birmingham hosted what is believed to be Europe's largest Eid al-Fitr celebration, attracting thousands of attendees. The event signifies the end of a month of fasting for Ramadan, fostering togetherness and community spirit. Following weather-related cancellations in recent years, Friday's clear skies allowed for a full outdoor festival.

Organized by the Green Lane Masjid and Community Centre, the festivities included communal prayers and a funfair running until 21:00 GMT. The lead-up to Eid also featured community initiatives like free iftar meals.
