Bengaluru Shines: India's Tech Hub Tops Global Nightlife Chart

Bengaluru has been recognized globally for its vibrant nightlife, securing the 17th position in Time Out's Best Cities for Nightlife 2026 rankings. This prestigious placement puts India's tech capital on the international stage, outranking other prominent Indian cities.

The ranking considered local feedback on nightlife quality, affordability, safety, and community, with Bengaluru scoring strongly in community feel at 82% and nightlife quality at 71%. Affordability was noted as a weaker aspect, scoring 54%.

Respondents highlighted street life and casual bars as key attractions, indicating a preference for diverse experiences beyond traditional clubs. New venues, alongside established favorites, contribute to Bengaluru's dynamic after-dark scene, offering live music, comedy, and unique themed bars.

Unique establishments like Dali & Gala, inspired by Salvador Dalí, and Middle Room, a vinyl listening bar, showcase the city's innovative approach to nightlife. The evolving scene also includes supper clubs, breweries, and late-night cafes, catering to a wide array of preferences and fostering community.
