In November 2025, Bengaluru apartments were abuzz with the spooky spirit of Halloween. Last year, residents of the city's neighborhoods embraced the festive occasion, organizing parties and trick-or-treating activities for local children.
At the Embassy Pristine apartment complex in Bellandur, nine-year-old Kiyan Merchant was thrilled to dress up and run around with his friends, collecting candies from participating households. "It's my favorite time of the year because everyone gets to be spooky, funny and a little crazy- all at once," he said with a smile.
The apartment complex had asked residents to display pumpkin posters on their doors to signal their participation, and they had stocked up on around 100 candies and chocolates for the young "monsters and ghosts" making their rounds. Similarly, the MRKR Mera Homes in Kadugodi hosted a Halloween party, where children enjoyed checking out each other's costumes, sharing ghost stories, and indulging in sweets.
