Safiyya Vorajee, the ex-partner of Ashley Cain, has earnestly requested that the public cease suggesting that having another baby will mend her profound grief. This plea comes five years after the tragic death of their eight-month-old daughter, Azaylia, who succumbed to acute myeloid leukaemia in April 2021.
Vorajee, 36, explained in a recent Instagram clip that her path to healing is still very much in progress. She articulated that rebuilding oneself after such a devastating loss is not a quick process and involves addressing deeply broken parts of her life, including emotional and financial stability.
She highlighted that the idea of having another child is not on her immediate horizon. Vorajee emphasized the importance of finding herself again, learning to live, and achieving personal wholeness before considering relationships or expanding her family. She also noted that Ashley Cain has since welcomed two sons, Aliyas and Atlas, with other partners.
Vorajee's raw message served as a reminder to be more mindful about personal questions, particularly those directed at mothers who have experienced baby loss. She expressed that such inquiries can be painful and intrusive, underscoring that healing is a unique journey, and some days are simply about survival.
