- Both Snook and Fisher demonstrate the technique on late-night TV shows

In the past few days, the 'Tim Tam Slam' has made its stateside debut, thanks to two Australian actresses who are introducing the beloved cookie-drinking technique to American audiences.
On November 6th, Sarah Snook, 37, appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, 51, to demonstrate how to properly execute the Tim Tam Slam. Snook, who was promoting her new Peacock series All Her Fault, brought the Australian cookies, or "biscuits," and guided Fallon through the process - biting off one corner, then the opposite corner, and using the cookie as a straw to sip tea.
Just a day later, on November 7th, Kelly Clarkson, 43, had a similar experience on her show when Isla Fisher, 49, taught her the art of the Tim Tam Slam. Fisher, who was there to promote her new film Now You See Me: Now You Don't, poured milk into their teas and walked Clarkson through the same bite-and-dunk technique.
Both Snook and Fisher emphasized the long history and iconic status of the Tim Tam in Australia, with Fisher calling it "the greatest thing that's ever happened to the country." The actresses' demonstrations have introduced this unique cookie-drinking ritual to American audiences, who seem delighted to have discovered this new way to enjoy the beloved Australian treat.
