Auglaize County Fair: Robots, Tigers & Country Music!

The 174th Auglaize County Fair is set to take place from Sunday, August 2, through Saturday, August 8, under the theme "Freedom, Family, Red, White and Fair." Daily admission is $10, with season passes available for $35, and children nine and under admitted free.

New this year is a dedicated youth zone designed for relaxation and entertainment, featuring arcade games, laser tag, and inflatables. Adding to the excitement is Gizmo the Robot, an interactive talking robot that will welcome patrons and share jokes throughout the fairgrounds. For older youth, a "Boots to Beats" dance is scheduled for Friday, August 7.

Midway entertainment, running daily from 11 a.m. to midnight, will be highly interactive. Highlights include Brunon Blaszak's Royal Bengal Tiger Show and the Pirates of the Columbian Caribbean Aerial Highwire Thrill Show. The fair also boasts a Gospel tent with a lineup of musicians, beginning Sunday, August 2 with a worship service.

Evening grandstand events kick off at 6 p.m. nightly. Schedule highlights include Rough E. Rodeo Bull Riding and Rodeo on August 2, a cheerleading competition on August 3, harness racing on August 4, and a Demolition Derby on August 6. A Tug-A-Truck event is set for August 7, concluding with a performance by Craig Morgan on August 8, preceded by a special announcement.

Kids Day will be held on Tuesday, August 4, in the Gospel tent from noon to 4 p.m., offering face painting, balloon artists, and a photo booth. Fair management encourages community involvement through volunteering, sponsorship, and donations.
