Greg Sims, Chief Development Officer for the food bank, emphasized the event's dual role in both fundraising and community building.
Sims noted the diverse participation, stating, "Community is a part of our DNA." The event continues to grow as more residents seek ways to support neighbors experiencing hunger. Organizers highlighted that every dollar donated can provide up to three meals. For those unable to attend, registration for virtual participation and online contributions remains open.
