Aries and Salomon Revive 80s/90s Running Style with New Trail Shoe Collab

In a blast from the past, sportswear brands Aries and Salomon have joined forces to release a new two-shoe collection that pays homage to the running culture of the 1980s and 1990s. The "XT-Whisper" collection, set to arrive next week, features vintage-inspired materials like leather and suede on the uppers.

One version of the collaborative trail shoe sports a vibrant pink and purple colorway, while the other pair dons an all-black look. Aries branding is visible underneath the Quicklace system on the tongue, and a lugged outsole provides traction for off-road adventures.

According to the collaborators, the new styles were designed to capture the essence of the running scene during those nostalgic decades. The use of retro-style materials and color palettes aims to evoke a sense of timeless style and performance.
