Theo's Legacy: Mother's Unique Grief Process

Amanda Hughes has spoken openly about her profound grief and her unique perspective on losing her son, Theo, who was stillborn in February 2011. She explained on her BBC series, 'Amanda & Alan's Greek Job,' that she doesn't question why it happened but rather believes Theo chose her for a short period. This belief helps her accept his loss, viewing him as a part of the universe and still an integral part of her family. She proudly identifies as a mother of three, acknowledging Theo's presence.

Theo's passing in 2011 marked a significant loss for Amanda and her husband, Chris Hughes, with whom she has two daughters, Lexi and Hollie Rose. The couple, married since 2008, has navigated both the darkest and brightest times together. Amanda's emotional journey also led to the creation of the Theo's Hope fund in 2018.
