Alicia Douvall's Fairytale Wedding: A Second Chance at Love

Model and former Celebrity Big Brother star Alicia Douvall has achieved her fairytale ending, marrying businessman David Anstiss in a ceremony held in Hertfordshire earlier this August. Douvall, 47, who had previously been celibate for ten years, described the wedding as the most amazing experience, noting neither she nor Anstiss, 45, had experienced such profound love before.

The couple's romance began in November 2024, with Anstiss instantly smitten. After a series of romantic dates, Anstiss proposed to Douvall during a trip to the Maldives six months later.

Wedding preparations encountered a snag when Douvall parted ways with a designer gown costing over £12,000, necessitating the design of her own dress with just five weeks remaining. Further complications arose from significant weight loss, requiring last-minute adjustments to both her gown and an evening dress.

Despite these challenges, the wedding day in early August was described as perfect. Held at a church with 90 family and friends in attendance, the ceremony featured a gospel choir. Douvall's daughters, Georgia, 31, and Papaya, 14, served as bridesmaids.

The newlyweds enjoyed a minimoon in Spain, with a honeymoon in the Seychelles planned for next year. Douvall expressed that marriage has brought a sense of security and partnership, enhancing their bond. She also highlighted her focus on her beauty brand, Douvall's, and her daughters' positive relationship with Anstiss, who views them as his own.
