Ahmedabad Garba Celebrations Disrupted by Sudden Downpours

On September 25th, 2025, the typically vibrant Navratri celebrations in Ahmedabad were dampened by unexpected heavy rain. Thousands of revelers had been eagerly anticipating the only Sunday during the 10-night festival, but the wet weather disrupted their plans.

The rain made it challenging for garba enthusiasts to enjoy the dance, as the grounds turned slippery and muddy. Despite the weather-related setbacks, the spirit of Navratri prevailed at the venues that were able to adapt quickly. Organizers like Shanku's Dandiya ensured the smooth movement of vehicles and participants, and the garba event went ahead as planned.
