31 May
Summary
- Adam Henson will leave his Cotswolds farm when the tenancy ends.
- His children are not interested in taking over the family farm.
- He plans to move to a nearby bungalow with a few acres.

Countryfile presenter Adam Henson is preparing for a significant life change, planning to leave the family farm in the Cotswolds when his current tenancy concludes in 12 years. This move marks the end of an era, as he has been deeply involved in running the farm, continuing the legacy started by his father, Joe, in 1971.
Henson revealed that his children, though capable of farm tasks, have pursued careers outside of agriculture. His daughter is an events organiser in Perth, and his son works as a financial advisor in Leeds. Consequently, they have no intention of taking over the farm's operation.
Instead, Adam and his wife, Charlie, will relocate to a bungalow situated close by in Winchcombe. They plan to maintain a smaller agricultural presence, keeping a few sheep and their dogs on a few acres of land. Despite the change, Henson expressed his desire to continue enjoying the countryside.
