She has experienced numerous A&E visits due to the pain. Further investigations have also revealed endometriosis wrapped around her bowel, contributing to her discomfort.
In addition to the bicorporeal uterus and endometriosis, Ellie was diagnosed with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) in November 2025. Doctors are also investigating the possibility of an extra kidney. The condition, affecting just 0.4% of women, presents unique challenges, particularly concerning future pregnancy plans, as her left uterine cavity is larger and considered safer for gestation.
