Wockhardt Opens New Superspeciality OPD in South Mumbai

Wockhardt Hospital has inaugurated a new superspeciality Outpatient Department (OPD) at Kemps Corner, functioning as an extension of its Mumbai Central facility. This 2,800-square-feet clinic aims to enhance healthcare accessibility for patients in South Mumbai who previously faced difficulties reaching the main hospital.

The new OPD will host consultations with specialists in key areas such as cardiology, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, gastroenterology, nephrology, urology, and orthopaedics. It is equipped to provide essential diagnostic services including pathology, ECG, and X-ray, facilitating a comprehensive patient assessment.

To ensure convenience for working professionals, the clinic will operate daily from 10 am to 8 pm. This initiative is part of Wockhardt's strategy to streamline the patient's journey from initial consultation through to necessary interventions, offering personalized treatment pathways.

The facility will maintain integrated systems for all patient records and case histories, aiding doctors in providing informed and continuous care. Wockhardt Hospitals plans to replicate this model in other locations if this pilot proves successful, emphasizing accessible, integrated, and patient-centered healthcare.
