The Hope Always Foundation, established by Emmy Award-winning voiceover actor Bobby Kesselman, is dedicated to providing safe entertainment for children in hospitals and treatment centers. The foundation is distributing specialized devices called Warrior Tablets to young patients.
These tablets are customized and remotely secured to eliminate internet access, social media, and tracking, ensuring parents have peace of mind. They are loaded with video books, educational content, movies, TV shows, and relaxation materials. Kesselman founded the organization in memory of his sister, Becca, who battled cancer with remarkable courage and founded a teen support group.
Kesselman stated that the technology now allows him to channel the inspiration his sister gave him to pediatric patients. The Warrior Tablets are being distributed to hospitals, including Rush University Medical Center and Stroger Hospital of Cook County, as well as Ronald McDonald Houses. The goal is to reduce stress and anxiety for patients, particularly before procedures, thereby improving their overall care.
