Health Camp Offers Free Screenings in Visakhapatnam

A free mega medical camp was inaugurated in Visakhapatnam, an initiative organized by M.V.R. Educational Institutions in collaboration with local hospitals.

The event aimed to extend healthcare services to underserved communities. Attendees benefited from comprehensive health screenings, including checks for blood pressure, sugar levels, dental health, and cancer detection. Free medicines were also distributed, attracting a significant number of people from surrounding areas.

During the camp, the Chief Guest emphasized the value of traditional, nutritious food and discouraged the consumption of unhealthy fast food. The importance of legal rights was also highlighted, with information provided on free legal aid services available through the District Legal Services Committee.

Furthermore, Professor G. Ajay Kumar, a guest of honour, strongly cautioned attendees against seeking medical advice from unqualified individuals or unverified medical shops, advocating solely for consultation with certified medical specialists.
