This initiative aims to guide individuals seeking treatment under Ayush, offering advice based on their specific health details and problems.
The service will advise patients on medication and, if necessary, direct them to the most suitable Ayush hospital or department. A centralized call center will manage the operations, with doctors from Ayush branches receiving dedicated training to handle remote consultations. This prepares them to assess patient issues effectively over the telephone.
Following trial sessions, the Ayush telemedicine service will be fully operational. The number of doctors deployed will be adjusted based on demand and call volume. This new facility complements the existing 'eSanjeevani' telemedicine service available for modern medicine in the state.
