The Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) in Sanathnagar is slated for inauguration in March, with all pending construction and installation works mandated for completion by February 28. Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj recently inspected the facility, emphasizing the urgency for contractors to finalize all civil and infrastructure tasks.
Critical installations, including 200 oxygen lines, 65 nursing stations, registration counters, and an RO plant for the emergency ward, must be ready for trial runs by the deadline. Health department officials are concurrently ensuring essential support infrastructure like laundry services, signage, and specialized beds are in place.
To guarantee the hospital's operational readiness, the Director of Medical Education is tasked with immediately deploying necessary medical and technical personnel. A phased deployment of 100 staff members is scheduled from February 12 to February 28, with the entire workforce expected to be in position by the month's end.
