His recovery was further complicated by a severe bout of Covid-19, which took nearly three months to overcome. Despite these health adversies, he successfully cleared the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH-SET) and registered for his PhD.
In 2023, a kidney transplant from his mother provided him with a new lease on life. He chose to pursue his academic goals amidst post-transplant care. His doctoral thesis, titled "Perspectives of Social Criticism in the Select Novels of John Steinbeck," represents years of dedicated research.
Jaiswal aims to become a full-time assistant professor, continuing his professional journey. An organ donation awareness program is scheduled for August 16 in Nagpur, organized by various medical associations.
