Stray Dog Carries Baby's Remains Outside Punjab Hospital, Sparking Outrage

According to a recent incident, on August 24th, 2025, a stray dog was spotted carrying the remains of a baby near ward number 4 of a hospital in Punjab, India. Patients and attendants who witnessed the shocking scene expressed outrage over the lack of mechanisms to control the stray dog menace, and they feared that this incident of possible infanticide was a result of lapses by the hospital management.
