- Ambulance crew assisted a premature birth on a staircase.
- Paramedics provided reassurance and care during the unexpected delivery.
- Crew revisited the family months later to see the healthy baby.

In a heartwarming reunion, an ambulance crew met again with the baby they helped deliver on a staircase. The delivery occurred unexpectedly in February at the Sleaford home of Elli Jordan, who was only 37 weeks pregnant. Her partner called emergency services when labor began abruptly.
Ambulance technician Zoe Spilsbury, attending her first home delivery, described the scene at the top of the stairs. Despite initial nerves, she focused on the task, stating, "Once I was in it, you just get on with it." Following the safe birth, the crew monitored mother and son before transporting them to the hospital.
Paramedic Stephen Peacock expressed the crew's satisfaction in reconnecting with the family. He noted that paramedics often don't know the patient's outcome after hospital transfer. Seeing the mother and baby healthy and happy four months later provided "the best feeling."
