Actor Russell Andrews, 64, has publicly shared his diagnosis of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). He described the humbling experience during a recent interview, accompanied by his fiancée, Erica Tazel. Tazel affirmed her commitment and has been providing care for Andrews since the diagnosis.

Andrews recounted the subtle physical changes that eventually led him to seek medical attention, including dropping cups and glasses. Tazel also noticed shifts in his daily routine. He further explained that a loss of health insurance during industry strikes had delayed his diagnosis.

Following the diagnosis, Andrews and Tazel, along with his daughter Anya, are set to actively participate in advocacy campaigns.
