A Renton man is expressing profound gratitude to Officer Greg Bills for saving his life following a medical emergency. The incident occurred on April 29, when Officer Bills responded to a report of an unresponsive individual in a vehicle near Talbot Road South and South 50th Place.
Upon arrival, Officer Bills found a nurse administering CPR to Ken Conley. With assistance from bystanders, Conley was moved from his car, and Officer Bills assumed CPR duties. He then employed a Bluetooth-enabled automated external defibrillator (AED) from his patrol car, which relayed real-time data to arriving medics.
Conley is now recovering and shared his recovery journey with Officer Bills, stating, "I'm walking again." The Renton Police Department acknowledged the successful intervention, posting on social media, "We're thrilled about Mr. Conley's positive outcome and wish him continued good health!"
