Punjab Expands Free Healthcare: 100 New Aam Aadmi Clinics Open

The Punjab government has significantly enhanced its primary healthcare system by launching 100 new Aam Aadmi Clinics across the state, bringing the total operational facilities to 1,090. This expansion underscores the administration's dedication to providing accessible, high-quality medical services directly to citizens.

Each Aam Aadmi Clinic is staffed with an MBBS doctor and trained healthcare professionals, offering free consultations, essential medicines, and diagnostic tests. The initiative has become a cornerstone of Punjab's healthcare infrastructure, providing crucial support for maternal health and chronic disease management. Monthly, over 42,000 pregnant women benefit from antenatal services, while approximately 1.25 lakh patients with conditions like diabetes and hypertension receive continuous care and medication.
