Initially taken to the Govindgarh community health centre, she was subsequently referred to Zenana Hospital in Alwar due to her critical condition, including a low platelet count and renal failure. Her family alleges that a series of referrals and delays worsened her health.
Despite being advised to use the 108 ambulance service, the family opted for private transport to Sahara Hospital. Later, she was referred to SMS Hospital in Jaipur but was admitted to NIMS Hospital, where she passed away on July 29, 2026.
An inquiry into the emergency response system found that the family did not use the official 108 ambulance service for the transfer to Zenana Hospital, as their request to go to a private facility was refused due to service rules.
