A new incinerator system designed for the safe and environmentally friendly disposal of small animal and bird carcasses is now operational at Mumbai's BMC hospital for animals. This specialized unit has a capacity of 50 kilograms per hour.
The hospital itself is a state-of-the-art facility, housed in a four-story building. It features a dedicated surgery department staffed by expert veterinary surgeons. The hospital offers advanced medical services including operation theatres, general ward, ICU, and High Dependency Unit.
Furthermore, the facility is equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic equipment. These include MRI, CT Scan, X-Ray, Ultrasonography, a Pathology Lab, and 2D Echo. The hospital can accommodate and treat approximately 200 animals, providing comprehensive care for a wide range of veterinary needs.
