Mulberry Leaf Extract: The Glucose-Lowering Superhero You Need
11 Nov
Summary
- • Mulberry leaf extract reduces fasting glucose, HbA1c, and insulin levels
- • Jessie Inchauspe, the "Glucose Goddess", recommends it as a daily supplement
- • Mulberry leaf slows down carb breakdown, preventing glucose spikes

As of November 11th, 2025, a French biochemist known as the "Glucose Goddess" on social media is recommending mulberry leaf extract as a powerful supplement to help manage blood sugar levels. Jessie Inchauspe claims that after just two months of taking 250 milligrams of mulberry leaf extract daily, users have experienced significant improvements in key glucose health indicators.
Specifically, Inchauspe states that the supplement led to an 8 milligrams per deciliter reduction in fasting blood glucose, which is equivalent to a 47 millimoles per liter drop. Additionally, users saw a nearly 3 millimoles per mole decrease in HbA1c, and a 0.58 microunits per milliliter reduction in fasting insulin levels.
Inchauspe believes mulberry leaf extract is a "superhero" for glucose health due to its ability to slow down the breakdown of carbohydrates into glucose, preventing sharp spikes in blood sugar. She also notes that the supplement contains a lemon extract that stimulates the release of GLP-1, a hormone crucial for appetite and glucose regulation.
While Inchauspe recommends mulberry leaf extract as a daily supplement, she cautions that it should not be used as a replacement for other glucose-stabilizing "hacks," but rather as an additional support, especially when lifestyle factors make those hacks difficult to implement, such as when traveling or eating out.
