Cat Byrne, from Kidderminster, has undergone a remarkable transformation, losing more than half of her body weight. Previously weighing 23.5 stone, she has now shed 11.5 stone, reaching a healthier weight of 12 stone. This significant achievement was driven by her desire to be a better role model for her young son.
Byrne joined a weight loss group in January 2024, and within ten months, she had lost nine stone. She then embraced running and weight training to further her fitness goals. Her journey, inspired by her son, has led her to participate in the AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run 10k on Sunday, May 3rd.
She aims to inspire her son by demonstrating that exercise is enjoyable and beneficial. Byrne is now able to actively play and run with him, cherishing the ability to be a physically active parent and showcasing what the human body can achieve through dedication.
