Summary
- Australian mom in ICU on life support after Vietnam cosmetic surgery.
- Suffered sepsis, toxic shock, and flesh-eating bacteria.
- Family seeks funds for air ambulance and investigates surgeon.

A 33-year-old Australian mother of three is fighting for her life in Vietnam after a cosmetic surgery procedure went horribly wrong. Chloe Mowday traveled to Da Nang for a rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty approximately one month ago, but soon after experienced severe health deterioration.
Her condition rapidly declined, leading to sepsis and toxic shock syndrome. Medical professionals were forced to resuscitate her after she "died" en route to the hospital. She is now in intensive care on life support, battling a "flesh-eating bacteria" that has caused necrotic tissue around the surgical sites.
Her family is fundraising for an air ambulance to return her to Perth, Australia, for further treatment. Simultaneously, they are working with local authorities as an investigation into the plastic surgeon who performed the procedures is underway. Her husband and young son remain with her in Vietnam.
