12 Sep
Summary
- Mobile mammography trailer offers breast cancer screenings.
- Screenings are available for eligible individuals aged 45-74.
- Appointments are required for the free mammogram services.

A mobile mammography trailer provided by Primary Care Alberta will be visiting Strathmore in the coming weeks. The trailer is scheduled to be at the Strathmore Stampede Grounds from September 25-26 and again from October 1-3 and 5-6. This initiative aims to make early breast cancer detection more accessible.
Mammograms, an X-ray of the breast, are vital for identifying cancer at its earliest stages, when treatment is often most effective. The service is available to eligible individuals between the ages of 45 and 74, a demographic identified as being at higher risk. While the screenings are free, booking an appointment in advance is a requirement.
