The campaign embraced the heartwarming theme, "Show Love, Give Blood," aiming to promote voluntary blood donation as a vital way to express care and save lives. The primary event was hosted at the Dawrpui multi-purpose hall in Aizawl, drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd of donors.
National-level footballer JJ Lalpekhlua graced the occasion as the chief guest, inaugurating the blood donation camp. Demonstrating his commitment to the cause, Lalpekhlua also donated blood himself and delivered an inspiring appeal to the youth of Mizoram, emphasizing the critical need for blood donations to support those in need.
As a token of appreciation for their selfless contributions, each blood donor was presented with a rose. This initiative successfully turned a day associated with romantic love into an opportunity for community service and life preservation.
