19 Mar
Summary
- Heather Tucker was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer at age 28.
- Despite her diagnosis, she continued working as a prosecutor.
- She achieved remission three months after her 30th birthday.

Peachtree City resident Heather Tucker was diagnosed with De Novo Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer at just 28 years old. The cancer had spread to her bones, liver, and ovaries. Despite the devastating diagnosis, she returned to work as a misdemeanor prosecutor for Fulton County just days later, determined to see her cases through.
Three months after her 30th birthday, Tucker entered remission. She explains that metastatic cancer means it has spread from its original location, and for aggressive forms like hers, the fight is ongoing with lifelong chemotherapy. Tucker is committed to not letting cancer control her life, embracing joy through concerts and her dog, Knight.
Tucker actively shares her story, aiming to inspire others and transform her difficult experience into a positive force. She also fundraises for Susan G. Komen, holding a strong belief that a cure will be found in her lifetime. Tucker is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the Susan G. Komen Party in Pink event on March 21 in Atlanta.
