Max George, the 37-year-old singer from The Wanted, has revealed he is back in hospital for a scan. This follow-up visit is to investigate an issue with one of his lungs, which has emerged following his major heart surgery. He shared his update via Instagram Stories on Friday, showing himself waiting for an X-ray.

George had a pacemaker fitted in December 2024 after experiencing a health scare where he reportedly turned blue, and later underwent a second procedure to correct a misplaced wire. He described the current hospital visit as a precaution, referring to the hospital as his "old second home."

Meanwhile, his girlfriend Maisie Smith, 24, has spoken about their relationship's deepening bond, noting how their connection grew stronger as they navigated the challenges of his health crisis over the past year. She expressed happiness in seeing him perform again, highlighting his resilience.
