A specialized rewarming technique, originally developed for Arctic survival, was employed by the medical team. This meticulous four-hour process gradually elevated his body temperature from 24°C to 34°C. Advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation, including chest compressions and medication, was initiated once his temperature reached a viable level.
Life was declared returned after a total of five hours and 34 minutes. While there were concerns about potential organ damage, the man regained consciousness after an induced coma and showed normal kidney function. Remarkably, he was discharged from the hospital only five days after the incident.
