A 34-year-old man's life was tragically lost after a series of hospital refusals and delays in receiving emergency care. Beginning on December 14 around 3 a.m., the man experienced intense chest pain and vomiting, prompting his wife to seek immediate medical attention. Their initial attempts to find help were met with unavailability, leading them to seek care at multiple facilities.
Upon reaching the first hospital, they were informed no duty doctor was present. A subsequent hospital conducted an ECG but failed to initiate treatment, advising them to go elsewhere for specialized care. The situation escalated when the man was again denied admission at a third hospital due to the severity of his condition.
While en route to another hospital, the couple fell from their two-wheeler. Despite his wife's desperate pleas for assistance from passers-by, no one stopped to help. Eventually, a cab driver intervened and rushed the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival, having suffered a stroke. The family has since donated his eyes.
