Worm Found in Sandwich Sparks Outrage

A customer at a PAUL restaurant in Gurugram's One Horizon Centre was reportedly served a sandwich containing a live worm. The shocking discovery was made on Friday morning while the customer, Sulabh Mathur, was having breakfast with friends.

Mathur observed the white worm crawling within the bread after eating approximately half of the sandwich. He captured the moment on video, which subsequently circulated on social media, drawing widespread attention and concern.

Following the online attention, PAUL representatives contacted Mathur to apologize and stated that an internal investigation was underway. The restaurant emphasized its commitment to customer safety and trust.

However, Mathur voiced his disappointment with the restaurant's handling of the situation. He publicly accused PAUL of providing a standard, prepared response rather than acknowledging the gravity of the issue. It remains unclear if food safety authorities have launched a separate inquiry.
